Why donate?

London Transport Museum inspires curiosity in London, reveals how transport shapes the city and improves the lives of its citizens.

Every year we see 120,000 Year 6 pupils as part of the TfL Safety & Citizenship programme which, delivered by London Transport Museum, brings messages about respect, responsibility and personal awareness on the transport network to children who are about to become independent travellers.

We welcome 25,000 school children through the doors of the Museum each year where they are taken on a journey through the history of transport in London and its role in our everyday lives.

Your donation will help the Museum care for an outstanding collection of over 470,000 objects, acquire new objects that will tell future generations the story of today’s London, and deliver award winning education and engagement work which reaches over 120,000 children each year.
