Internships are longer placements for university students or recent graduates. Interns get supervised practical training to help you build a career in heritage or cultural learning.
Interns bring their own fresh insight and ideas to LTM. In return we offer the chance to deliver tangible outcomes on important projects, and develop working relationships with museum professionals.
- When? When you are free for more than 4 weeks in a row (this is usually the summer vacation, but it depends on you). We need to identify projects you can work on that suits your interests and helps the Museum at the same time.
- How long for? Usually 4-12 working weeks (no longer than 12 weeks). Internships are only available to very few people so you need to be certain you can give this much time.
- Who for? Anyone determined to work in heritage or cultural learning. The heritage sector is very competitive, and our internships are designed to help you get started in your career.
