Gallery tours: All our stories

Download four unique tours of the Museum galleries, created by clients from St Mungo’s. Their personalised tours were inspired by topics and objects that caught their imagination. What will catch your eye?

Suggested activity: Invite the members of your group to make up their own tours based on objects and stories that interest them. Encourage them to find one object on each floor that they like. Ask them to describe to the group why they like the object and what made it stand out.

Adventure on the Underground: A story and guide book for families learning English

A story created by families from All Souls School in Westminster and designed for families learning English. Read the text as a full story, or use it to tour around the Museum. Follow Cool Mouse and his friends as he explores objects in the collection.

Family Station activities: for groups with families

Choose activities from our family station, located by the cloakroom on the ground floor. Complete them as you explore the Museum. Whether you fold your own bus and drive it between the vehicles, spot shapes around the Museum, or dream up your own transport story, there is something here for families with children of all ages.

Before or after your visit

Collections Online

You can explore the Museum’s collections even before you arrive by browsing our Collections online. This provides access to lots of information and thousands of images from our poster and photograph collections. See all the vehicles and watch film clips from the collection too.

YouTube
