Description
London Transport commissioned this poster in 1933. It was designed by Walter E Spradbery to promote the beauty of London's countryside in autumn. Spradbery, a specialist in landscape painting, painted a series of scenic views to represent the four seasons for London Transport posters. They all portrayed his home county of Essex.
