Interior of Northern line 1972 Mk 1 tube stock. Seats trimmed with an untitled 'art deco' style moquette design in orange, mauve, black and white developed by interior design specialists Tinley , Lumsden and Shane. Only three trains of Northern line 1972 Mk1 tube stock were fully refurbished (in 1994) due to budget constraints, and one complete train of 1959 tube stock. The moquette was used to trim a number of 1959/62 tube stock and 1972 Mk 1 stock trains.
