Description | Waterloo Underground station exterior, Bakerloo line. Station designed by architect Leslie Green. Original Baker Street and Waterloo Railway UER tiling. The single storey entrance opens onto York Road, the facade displays UERL and Bakerloo Tube posters including the Pawsey 'swift and sure' logo. Two roof-mounted enamel information boards list train times to various stations. A billboard poster next to the station advertises a Mr Leonard Boyne in Raffles at the Kennington Theatre. |
