Description | Southfields Underground station, District line and Southern Railway. The station was built in 1889 by the London and South Western Railway and was served by the District Railway. Exterior view of the station built on bridge above the line, with tiled pyramid-shaped roof and tall chimney stacks. Entrance to booking hall extends over most of the station facade. Southfields station name signage is displayed on the roof. There are shops, a Public telephone box and free standing ticket booth selling Underground tickets in shot. |
