Description | Moquette. One of the earlier type of tube carsupholstered in a moquette of a green and red design, produced for London Transport by Miss Enid Marx in 1945. This moqutte, officially known as Messrs Lister's number 329N and, colloquially, as the "Chevron" patternis being used together with red leather armrests in reupholstering vehiclesfor the Piccadilly and Central lines. |
