Westbound platform, Newbury Park station. The canopy and platform buildings date from the opening of the station in 1903. Evidence of LT ownership is supplied by the metal-framed station name roundel, foreground left; a metal lighting standard stands on the platform just in front of the roundel. A covered concrete footbridge crosses the tracks, midground right. The barrel-vaulted roof of the adjacent bus station can be seen above and to the left of the platform; the adjoining building is a LT canteen.
