Description | Exterior of Victoria station, District and Metropolitan Railways. Featuring the four arches of the Victoria Arcade entrance to the station, Victoria station House and adjoining shop premises. The original colonnade of archways, was designed by George Sherrin. The previously one storey building, now has premises built on top. At the top of the arches is a canopy displaying Victoria and UndergrounD. Posters and maps are displayed on the front of the building. To the right is Victoria Station house, to the left is the premises of the London Midland and Scottish Railway. |
