Description | New stairwell entrance to Chancery Lane station, situated on the south side of Holborn. The stairwell is enclosed by a bronze balustrade on a granite base, and is straddled by an 'UndergrounD' roundel on steel supports. Three station name plates in a bronze band are situated below the top rail of the balustrade. Two buses are prominent in the traffic heading towards the camera. Other subway entrances can be seen in the background. |
