Description | Gloucester Road Underground station, Piccadilly line. Exterior view of architect Leslie Green's design which was situated adjacent from the District line entrance. Two storey building faced in glazed blocks, with upper parapet level and arched windows. The station name is incorporated in the tiled design on the facade of the building. UndergrounD poster panels display groups of four posters on the lower half of the station, double poster panels flank the exit of the station. An empty shop premises can be seen to the right of this. The entrance and building of the District line station can be seen to the far right of the shot. |
