Biography
Attribute Value Biography Harriet Wallace-Jones and Emma Sewell both studied at textiles at Central Saint Martins. They were then both awarded places on the Woven Textile course at Royal College of Art for a two year Masters degree. Harriet was born in Dorset near Poole. She had previously completed an Art foundation at Bournemouth College and developed an interest in textile design. During her MA she had a work experience placement in New York where she sold designs for scarfs to companies such as Barney's and the Guggenheim. Emma, who was born in Norwich, carried out her work experience, learning about processes and finishing processes, with accompany in Scotland. On finishing their Masters degree they shared a studio space and began a partneship, Wallace-Sewell. They formed a relationship with Transport for London and created designs for Tramlink, Overground, buses, Crossrail and the Underground. They have successfully won competitions with designs such as the 'Barman' moquette.Role Artist,
