Attribute Value Biography Beaumont joined LT Publicity Office as young man in the late 1930s, straight from Cambridge, as copywriter and "general overseer of the written word, and in some sense a protege of Frank Pick". He went on to be Harold Hutchison's chief creative assistant, succeeding him in the role of Publicity Officer in 1966.
