Biography
Attribute Value Biography F H Stingemore joined the Underground Group about 1919 and worked in the Publicity Managers Office where he designed a number of posters. Later he produced maps and illustrations for the company's publications such as 'London's Country' (1922), 'London' (1924) and 'London Town and Country' (1928).
He was appointed personal draughtsman to Frank Pick and in due course became Head of the Commercial Drawing Office. He also contributed to 'TOT Staff Magazine' and 'The Railway Magazine'. He was a keen photographer of transport subjects.
