    Born in Stratford upon Avon, Jonathan Waller studied at Coventry (Lanchester) Polytechnic 1980 - 1983 and Chelsea School of Art 1984 - 1985.

    Solo exhibitions of his work have been held at the Paton Gallery in 1986 and 1988, Flowers East Gallery in 1990, 1992 and 1993, both in London, and at Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery in 1994. In 1988 he also exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum, New York and throughout America in a touring exhibition 'The New British Painting'.

    In 1991 his work was included in 'Kunst Europa - 74 Kunstvereine zeigen Kunst aus 18 Lendern' in Karlsruhe, Germany. His work appears in several public collections including the Metropolitan Museum in New York. He is now Senior Lecturer in Design and Visual Arts at Coventry University
