  Biography	Born in Bury St Edmunds, her first art training was on John Hassall's Correspondence Course in 1918. She later attended Heatherley's School of Fine Art and the New Grosvenor School of Modern Art in London. At the Grosvenor she met Claude Flight who taught lino-cutting, and this became her favourite medium. She shared a studio with Cyril Power, another member of Flight's circle; all of them worked in an avant-garde, Futurist style. Her posters for London Transport, were given the joint signature `Andrew Power'. She moved to Hampshire in the late 1930s and emigrated to British Columbia, Canada, after the war. In 1933 she had a joint exhibition with Cyril Power at the Redfern Gallery, where she had exhibited since 1927. Her posters for London Transport, all dating from 1933, were given the joint signature `Andrew Power'. She moved to Hampshire in the late 1930s and emigrated to British Columbia, Canada, after the war where she painted and taught. Her work is inthe V&A, British Museum, Los Angeles Museum and several Canadian galleries. In 1982-3 a retrospective of her work was held at the Glenbow Museum, in Canada.
