Description | This edition of the Underground map by F H Stingmore shows the newly opened Piccadilly line extensions to Cockfosters, Northfields and South Harrow. Down Street Station has closed and is no longer shown. The front cover is yellow coloured linen backed with card. The reverse of the map has details about theatres and their closest stations, there is also information on the opening dates for the Piccadilly line extensions, and the renaming of Dover Street Station to Green Park and Holborn Station to Holborn (Kingsway). |
