Description | Drawing shows Johnston's second adaptation of the bullseye device adopted after the formation of the LPTB. This comprised a red ring and blue crossbar, the UndergrounD wordmark in white caps in the crossbar with white pecked ribbons above and below "ndergroun". The trading name appears in the white spaces inside the red ring with "London" above the crossbar and "Transport" below. This style replaced Johnston's first design showing "L.P.T.B." above the crossbar. |
