Relics

Relics includes medals, badges, board games, stamps and even food wrappers associated with London’s transport companies

The relic collection is made up of mostly small objects produced by, or relating to Transport for London (TfL), London Transport and other predecessor companies. Objects range from a medallion produced to commemorate the opening of the Thames Tunnel in 1843, to a TfL ‘baby on board' badge manufactured in 2016. The rich variety in the collection illustrates the impact London’s transport has on design.
