Friday Late Open Event

Following the success of two similar events in May, a further free open evening at the Museum will take place on Friday 2 September, from 7.00pm until 10.00pm. During this event visitors will have the opportunity to explore the design of the bus on short guided tours, starting from 7.15pm. The museum Upper Deck café and bar, along with the museum shop, will remain open for the duration of the event.

1938 Tube Stock Tour

Treat your father, take a trip down memory lane and have fun with your family this Father’s Day. Continuing with the Heritage Vehicles on the move 2011 programme London Transport Museum will run its 1938 Tube train along the western end of the Piccadilly line.

Creating a London Icon

The New Bus for London reinstates the much-loved hop on, hop off platform, introducing a third door and a second staircase making it quicker and easier for passengers to board. With a sleek asymmetrical front window and a panel of glass wrapping around the entire bus the passenger will experience even more natural light and extended views of London.

First & Last - '67 Stock Rail Tour
