'Walk the 38' for Charity

London Transport Museum is helping its long term supporter Arriva London to celebrate the centenary of its Route 38. We are offering free Museum admission for all those people who ‘Walk the 38’ route and raise at least £38 in support of Maggie’s charity between between 1 May and 14 September 2012.

Mind the Map

A new series of special events will challenge the perception that maps are simply used for getting from A to B. Organised in celebration of the Museum’s new exhibition, Mind the Map: inspiring art, design and cartography, the events will run from May through to September 2012.

Book Signing

Rebecca Sams will be signing copies of her new title TUBE LONDON, a Capital Transport publication, at the London Transport Museum Shop on Saturday 5th May between 11am and 1pm.

Easter Holiday Family Fun

Date: Monday 2 April to Friday 13 April 2012
Travel back to a time when ladies wore bonnets and men in top hats rode through the City of London in horse drawn vehicles. Discover the story of Victorian London by taking the ‘time machine’ lift up to the 19th Century London gallery to explore the history of the river, steam and what the city was like before buses and the Underground.
