Explore the museum after hours with a glass of wine and enjoy the opening evening of this brand new exhibition - Mind the Map: inspiring art, design and cartography.

Release your inner geek and take part in a workshop led by artist Claire Brewster and listen in on a reading from author Craig Taylor. Take a guided tour of the exhibition, while DJ Bob Stanley of Saint Etienne spins the decks for the night and watch while our Resident cartographer Emily Wilkinson maps the whole evening.

Claire Brewster was commissioned to create new artwork for the Mind the Map exhibition. Join Claire and make your own work inspired by her beautiful piece. No need to book, just drop in.

Craig Taylor answers questions and reads from his book Londoners: The Days and Nights of London Now, As Told by Those Who Love It, Hate It, Live It, Left It and Long for It. This will be o sale in the museum shop and Craig will be signing copies of his book in the exhibition after his talk.

Curator led tours of the new Mind the Map exhibition
Time: 19:30 and 21:00 (tours last 30 minutes)
Location: Mind the Map exhibition entrance
Places on these tours are limited to 20. Please sign up at the ticket desk on arrival. Senior Curator Claire Dobbin’s new book London Underground Maps: Art, Design, and Cartography is on sale in the museum shop and Claire will be signing copies of the book after the tours.
