Primary & Secondary schools
Our school bookings team is available to discuss your requirements and to take your booking over the phone.

General school visits to the museum are free of charge. There is a charge of £1.50 per child for booked sessions. All Secondary sessions are currently free of charge (subject to a cancellation fee).

The bookings team will send you a booking form to fill out. You need to send this back in order to fully confirm your booking.

SEN schools
If you wish to book a visit for a special school group please call our bookings team on +44 (0)20 7565 7298 to discuss your specific requirements. All SEN sessions are currently free of charge.

Overseas schools
Due to the added logistical problems of supporting visits form overseas schools, the Museum will charge overseas groups the standard group booking charge. Please call +44 (0)20 7565 7298 for more information.

Here are some guidance sheets so you can start to plan a school visit. You can use these whether you are booking a visit for a Primary, Secondary or SEN school.

Booking

Foundation, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 sessions cost £1.50 per pupil. Group leaders and adult helpers go free.

Secondary school and SEN sessions are free, but cancellation charges apply.
