Plan a school visit
General school visits to the museum are free of charge, giving you access to our state-of-the-art displays and fabulous collections. You can also choose to add on a range of curriculum-focused sessions delivered by our Learning Team and by costumed drama characters.
We offer an exciting range of interactive, curriculum-focused sessions for Primary and Secondary students. We also offer a programme for SEN school groups. Alternatively, you may be able to book a self-guided visit to the museum.
PreVisit Information
Here are some guidance sheets so you can start to plan a school visit. They tell you how to get to the museum, health and safety information and things you need to do before and on the day of your visit. You can use these whether you are booking a visit for a Primary school or Secondary school. For SEN groups, please contact the SEN Officer.
