Can you help return steam to the London Underground?

London Transport Museum is currently fundraising for the restoration of Metropolitan steam locomotive No. 1. Once restored, the locomotive will retrace the inaugural journey of the world’s first underground railway as part of the celebrations for the 150^th anniversary of the London Underground.

We aim to raise £250,000 to ensure that such a significant part of London’s transport heritage is restored for the enjoyment and education of future generations.
